Installation

To install Eleventy Duo, follow these steps:

1. Generate a new repo from the repository template provided.
2. Clone your new repository using the command git clone https://github.com/YOUR_REPO.
3. Navigate to the newly created repo.
4. Install dependencies by running yarn install.
5. Serve the site locally with yarn dev.
6. Use yarn build to build a production version of the site.
7. Customize the theme by editing the data/site.json file with your own details, such as description, title, URL, navigation items, and social media links.
8. Replace the favicon and default social images in the src/images/ directory with your own graphics.
9. Manually edit the contents of the homepage, about page, blog posts, and generic pages to fit your needs. Sample frontmatter is provided for each type of page.
10. Optionally, integrate Forestry CMS to manage your content. The theme is preconfigured to work with Forestry, allowing you to easily edit markdown or data files, upload media, and commit updates to your repo. Instructions for setting up Forestry are provided in the documentation.
