We are collecting corporate statements in response to racial injustice, along with Diversity/Inclusion reports and ICE contract information. We have several issues for requested companies, please feel free to add more!

## Overview
The project began in 2020 as an initiative to engage in Open Source programming and garnered attention during Hacktoberfest. With a strong focus on promoting accountability among corporations in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, this effort aimed to spotlight the disparity between corporate statements and actual change regarding racial injustice. Although the project has been closed, the community's collective learning experience is commendable and provides valuable insights into organizing open source initiatives.

In its essence, this project served as a platform to question superficial corporate solidarity statements and demand transparency in their commitment to diversity and change. By drawing on analysis from notable sources, it created a narrative around the necessary actions corporations need to take, making an important contribution to the dialogue on corporate responsibility.
